Time(less)

In the recent few weeks i have almost completely halted all blogging for one single reason: the universal excuse for anything and everything- the lack of time. It is an adage used since times immemorial- alexander could not conquer the world because well he didnt have enough time (early to bed i guess- that is why i am such a staunch supporter of night life) and well i use it when my boss asks me to turn in some piece of work due a few months previously (this is ofcourse- hypothetical as of now!! but you never know...)

In light of the fact that I have so little time to do any writing and ofcourse a lack of any creative imagination on my part(that too coz i didnt get time to think), I decided to write about time. Not that anyone would want to read it, just a futile excercise to kill ennui (since most of you would have guessed, I have a little time at hand right now). So if you were expecting anything funny, witty or even just a serious take at the meaning of life and our existance in space, you would be sadly mistaken. On the other hand, if you thought this would give you an insight into my thoughts, a window into my soul and all that jazz, well in that case you would be completely mistaken. So here goes.

Time itself is something intangible and incomprehensible not because of the relativity theory like the scientists would put it but because of the general relativity we are all familiar with. Time moves faster when you do something enjoyable and time moves slowly when you want it to move fast. It is basically an inverse of the speed you wish it to move at. Most people would know what I am talking about. Others, who never had the misfortune of experiencing this phenomenon coz they never pick up their sorry asses from the couch, will have to read further for an example. Lets say you had a day off at work, you want to do all the chores, which can only be accomplished on the weekday, by the time you get to the second thing on the list the day is already over. In contrast, say you had to work an extra day and you finished your work 10 min ahead of schedule but were allowed to only leave 10 min later, those 10 min would be the longest ever. Tell me if I am worng here.

This in a nutshell is the theory of time. So the basic moral of the story is- enjoy your freakin life for you would never know when you might run out of time!!!!

Just got reminded of workshop and Physics lab bhai.

I mostly finished workshop before time and the wretched instructor would not let me leave till 4:30. I remeber those three day long periods of half hour on clock scale.

On contrary physics lab always took me longer than the alloted time because of the inevitable mistakes in doing the experiment first time.

4yr B.Tech too was too short and the last year in IIT has been pretty long.

Do you ever read comments?
